Breaking News - According to the Associated Press, Starbucks plans to unveil a new 31-ounce cup size for iced beverages. The Trenta, which means 30 in Italian, will cost about 50 cents more than the 20-ounce Venti size.
The new cup size will be released tomorrow - Tuesday in 14 states: North Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, South Carolina, Florida, Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Hawaii, Arizona, and Nevada. California will be able to buy them Feb. 1 and the nationwide rollout should be May 3. The expansion comes after the 31-ounce Trenta was tested in several markets last year, including Atlanta, Tampa, Fl., and Phoenix.
